The Harvest Moon Triathlon is a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1
mile run event. This event takes place at the beautiful Aurora
Reservoir, providing a convenient location for triathletes who live
along the Colorado Front Range, and it's just a hop-skip-and-ajump
from DIA. The race is scheduled at the end of the season,
when you're in your best shape of the year! Whether this is your
final event of the season, or a tune-up for a fall Ironman, don't

Sep. 12, 2010 Sunday - Harvest Moon Duathlon

The Harvest Moon Duathlon is a 5K (3.1 mile) run, 56 mile bike,
13.1 mile run event. Duathletes will all begin in the same wave
after all of the swimmers have entered the water. An aid station
will be set up at the finish of the 5K Run. Following the opening
run, racers will then follow the same bike and second run courses
as the triathletes. There will be one aid station at mile-3 of the
first 5K run. The first 5k is rolling terrain with a mix of hard
packed trail and wide cement running paths with a dirt shoulder.
The Harvest Moon, Colorado's only long-course duathlon, attracts
100 athletes every year competing for great prizes and raffles
from our sponsors!

This tour is a shorter version of our popular Tri-State Ride. Our goal is to provide a fabulous, fully supported tour as well as bring attention to the Mississippi River Trail, a 3,000 mile bicycle route starting at the headwaters of the Mississippi River in Itasca, Minn. and ending at the great Mississippi delta at the Gulf of Mexico. This weekend of cycling will take you along parts of the Iowa and Wisconsin legs of the Mississippi River Trail.

The area's only bike ride for breast cancer, this one day multi-length ride will take place on the scenic Willard Munger State Trail between Duluth and Hinckley, MN. Route lengths include everything from a Family Fun loop to the 100-Mile 'Century to End Breast Cancer' Ride. Rest stops and support will be available all along the way. Early Bird Registration is $25 until July 31st and $35 after.

Funds raised from this event will benefit the Young Survival Coalition Duluth, providing support, comfort and hope to young women diagnosed with breast throughout our community.

The 3^rd Annual Oktoberfest Sprint Triathlon is the perfect season ending celebration. On September 26th come finish off the season in style at Colorado's last outdoor triathlon. Over the last 2 years this race has attracted beginners, veterans', and pro's all competing together with a small and friendly race feel. This event is limited to 400 competitors and sold out early in 2009; please register early to take advantage of the early bird pricing!

Distances: The 3^rd Annual Oktoberfest Sprint Triathlon features a half mile swim, flat and fast 12 mile bike, and finishes with a 3.1 mile run. Please see course maps for a description and map of each discipline. Water temperature at last year's event was 73 degrees!

Fabulous Las Vegas is calling all cycling enthusiasts to join the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) as we host RTC Viva Bike Vegas 2010 on Saturday, October 9, 2010. Whether you're a beginning biker, a seasoned pro, or just want to enjoy the atmosphere of an exciting community event, this ride is for you! RTC Viva Bike Vegas 2010 will have several rides varying in length to accommodate riders of all ages and abilities, including a 110-mile century ride, a 50-mile half-century ride, and a 23-mile course. The event will traverse the Las Vegas valley, and cyclists will travel along routes showcasing the beautiful scenery and stunning vistas of Southern Nevada.

Activities for children and families will also be available as they wait to greet returning cyclists. All registered riders will receive a T-shirt, swag bags, and lunch. T-shirts and lunch will also be available for purchase for friends and family. Proceeds will benefit Nevada Cancer Institute and the Greater Las Vegas Chapter of the After-School All-Stars.

From October 1st - October 4th, 2010, participants will take part in this exclusive event, riding from Hershey, PA to Mercer County Park, NJ, raising funds to ensure no young woman faces breast cancer alone.
